Windows 7.....about time!!!

Not to long ago Microsoft released an updated version of windows called Windows 7. Most people who had Windows Vista, the update prior to Windows 7, probably were not in to much of a hurry to update there software, seeing how many problems Vista has had.

Despite how badly it preformed, the program still sold fairly well. But so far it looks like Microsoft has done a good job with their new software. The new update has not shown as many problems with compatibility as Vista or XP did; which is nothing but good news for Windows. For this reason, many companies are making the switch to Windows 7. So far it appears that vendors are happy with their update. Even though Microsoft cannot change the mistakes they made with Vista, they can continue to improve their new programs.

I have always had a PC and sometimes it gives me problems but for the most part like it. I have used mac's before but since I'm not as use to there programing, it can get a bit confusing. I'm hoping when I have the money to upgrade to Windows 7 it will be 100 times better then any of the other window programs I've had before.

  2. I am a Vista customer, and I must say it is very slow. My laptop came with the mere basics, and I hate it.

I will be attending UNF in the summer, and my Veterans Benefits will provide me with an up-to-date laptop, so I won't have to pay out of pocket for my new updates.

Microsoft has been around for many years, and will be around for many more if Windows 7 continues to be a great success.

  3. I have had a mac for about a year and a half and I STILL don't know how to use it correctly. I grew up on window's 95 and so on so mac's are foreign to me but I love them! Hopefully this new Window's program will not give people such a hard time as Vista had done before on my brother's computer!

  4. I have the new updated Windows 7. My brother who is an IT manager installed it a couple of days and was really excited about it. Sounds like Microsoft are making some positive strides. Have not had a problem with the new Windows yet and I am happy to say my computer is extremely fast..knock on wood....
