Google Buzz

So in a nut shell, Google is adding another web networking site similar to twitter. It is currently only available to G mail users. I personally don't think that it is really necessary to have 4 things of pretty much the same things. Myspace, Twitter, and Facebook are plenty. Myspace and Facebook are already the same thing so to double Twitter really doesn't make since to me.

  1. I don't think you need a twitter unless you're famous. We all have a facebook, tweet me about someone 'people' want to know about.

  3. I only have facebook and that is enough! From a business point of veiw I understand how poeple might see how facebook and twitter has been successful and might want to recreate that. Yet, I think people are going over board with all this networking.

  4. I think i know what your talking about because my friend has that app on her phone. But she says its ok but the only people that can use it is people with a gmail account and everyone can have a twitter account. So I think that sort of sets it appart from gmail.

  5. Facebook is the only thing like that I use. This whole twitter thing is not for me, but certain people will start getting interested because that is why they do it. I am sure some of the certain things Google has introduced in the past has been successful so why not try something new again and see if it works out.

  6. I think it is all a little absurd to tell some stranger your every move.

Facebook and myspace are really good for networking and keeping in touch with long lost friends and family, but twitter is a bunch of non-sense. I don't have the time to check email, facebook, myspace, or tweet anyone with a full time school schedule, so for Google to add another networking device s redundant.

    Those are just my opinions.
