Is Conan going to be yanked from NBC? The answer to that is yes! Friday January 22nd will be Conan's last show and Jay Leno will resume with the "Tonight Show" at 11:35 on March1st after the Winter Olympics. Conan is still unsure of where he will end up, however Fox has expressed some interest in possible airing him on a new late night talk show at 11pm as early as September. One problem with this however is there may be a non-complete clause which would keep him off the air until January.
From what I have seen and heard, Conan is doing just about everything he can to get fired from NBC so he can sign another contract with another company. For example, there has been talk that FX cast him in "Sons of Anarchy" or Fox and have another late night show. Either way I feel it is wrong the way NBC is just deciding to take him off the air and not give him another show.

BOO NBC!!! Conan is the man! I never watched late night talk shows until Conan took over the "Tonight Show". Conan is a genius and it is without a doubt NBC's loss. I don't blame Conan if he signs somewhere else. NBC tried to screw over Conan, so why not do what is in his best interest? Wherever Conan ends up, he will be a hit.
ReplyDeleteI love Conan. His shows are acutally gettin better because i guess he figures since he's goin off the air soon he can do whatever he wants. Conan has always been funny, but recently he's jusr hilarious.
ReplyDeleteBummer, I never watched late night television till he had a show.
ReplyDeletethat sucks for Conan, sometime stuff happens
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big late night show fan, but I do like Conan and his red hair. Jay Leno looks like a big Shrek, and is not very funny at all. I pray that neither of the men lose their jobs during this recession, but if one has to go, let it be Leno. NBC will see in the long run that Conan was the best choice because Leno left to get his own show, what makes them think he won't do it again.
